Letting female fam & friends live w/ u & your man

Lol i I came home all my grand aunts were on our porch asking what was This lady talking about.
They knew I was going by bc I was helping her with the program .

One of my grand aunts is real live she was on the phone with her to stop spreading lies before she brings her out.
She was talking about that not even being her man since she " took" him from someone else anyway .

The next Sunday she took me aside to apologize but still told me that some wives would have reacted even more harshly and she gave me a hug and told me it was all love.

I just left it there .

What did your mama & aunts say?! Jesus christ you were just a kid.  If something were to happen that would have been on him anyway being that he was an adult & you were a child. SMH.

Uh uh
I remember getting blasted from an older lady from my church.
I was 17 I came by after church thinking she had made it home to get an Easter program roster together and to bring by some things for her.
She had a screen covered porch her husband came out to greet me and I asked if she had made it home yet he said she was on her way and to just wait awhile .we just small talked on the porch and she pulled up maybe 5 minutes later.
She cursed me and called me a hussy for sitting up with her husband ( we were standing on the porch).she really laid into me .i just said I'm sorry mam and told her why I came. She told me she thinks I'm a good girl but I don't need to do that to the wrong person.

Then she called my mother and my aunts to spread the news.
I felt so hurt bc I felt like I had brought shame to my family .i didn't do anything but stand and wait for 3 minutes on the porch.

Lesson learned
