I ordered the ebook from CHerie King...the instructions are so precise and clear...at least to me. The pics showed everything in perfect detail...this is worth it.

Just wanted to add that I did this on one of my clients on THursday. Here are the pros and cons;

Pros

1. tighter roots
2. touch up lasts longer 6 weeks as opposed to 4 weeks when palmrolling
3. Great for those with "softer" type 2s and 3s hair textures
4. No need to use gels, waxes or butters
5. Latch tool costs about $2 at any craft stores

Cons

1. May experience some soreness in the scalp
2. Takes longer to tighten roots than palmrolling then applying clips
3. Must do on wet or damp hair to avoid exteme scalp pain
4. At first using latch tool can be cumbersome but once you get the hang of it, it's quite simple.

I will use the latch hook from now on because it's that much better for me. THe results are better. Give it a try. The ebook gives very clean details.
