I got my first laser hair treatments in 2000 when I first moved to Minneapolis. I’d seen billboards around Uptown, and finally worked up the nerve to call a clinic in a nearby suburb. The treatments were incredibly expensive and quite painful back then. I paid $150 per treatment to get my chin and areolas done, and was left red and raw afterwards. But my regrowth lessened, some hairs vanished altogether, and the ones that grew back in weren’t as thick or noticeable. $150 a pop is a lot for a 25-year-old to sustain, so I probably did three or four rounds of treatment before giving it up.

I am fair skinned and have lots of dark hair and it has been amazing. I have had my armpits, facial hair, lower legs and forearms done so far. It can sting in certain areas but only for a milisecond. There was a little redness on my upper lip for about 15 minutes after each treatment otherwise no evidence I have had anything done (apart from no hair regrowth :-) ) Have a look to the article to know how does laser hair removal really work  http://renovalaser.com/does-laser-hair-removal-work/

Best investment ever. I pay $90 for full bikini, underarms and full stomach. I should have done this sooner!!

lol just saw my post from 2 years ago on this thread

i have been doing electrolysis and in only 7 hours of treatment i already got rid of a lot of hair.

laser removal is temporary....electrolysis is the only way to completely get rid of hair.
plus, laser is not recommended for dark skin people.

laser is not permanent and you'll waste your money
plus it IS painful.

electrolysis can be painful too, but a numbing cream will help you. the most sensitive areas are upper lip and the middle of the body - for example, the middle of your belly.

I posted a link and pics of a girl who had an awful facial hair problem and she no longer suffers
