We would probably be good friends then. Rap is all I listen too and I love UGK!

Nah, I've had close male and female friends.
It's easy to relate with different people over different things. I mean, things get weird if someone catches feelings for you, but for the most part I've always ignored that kind of stuff and made it clear what was what.
I don't make new friends though, and most of my old friendships have kind of faded away...

Not really. I just get annoyed hearing about man troubles and other females ALLLLLLLLLL the time. I hang with my gays mostly, the best of both worlds...though they can be bit&hes too.

Do any of you ladies find the word "female" derogatory?

Well, it depends on how it's used. If it's some fool with a Newport hanging out his lip talking about "I had this one female.." then yeah. If it's used to describe a gender with do derogatory undertones then nope.

Yes, its rude I don't care what you meant. I'm a woman and I want to be referred to as such. Female can mean any species but saying woman means you acknowledge I'm human.

I'm not bothered by it, but I think its funny that nobody ever calls guys males the way they call girls females.
