A few years ago, I thought I had enough friends, but I came into contact with some really amazing women. I am always open to new friendships. I do find that I am much slower to really trust, but I am happy when I do. Plus I love the emotional side of women. They are the same ones that will drop everything and run to you. Men are slow to act on the "emotional" needs of women; especially ones they aren't sleeping with.  Fluck outta here.....come running, bring a couple of bottles of wine, and let us vent.

awwwwww SL....There is nothing better than having a girlfriend that knows what you are thinking before you say it. There is nothing like busting out laughing after crying about something b/c your girl cracked a joke. I love men, don't get me wrong....but other than two of them I have known almost my entire life, the rest get really nothing from me. No emotional connection at all. Hubby is the closest I have ever found to a girlfriend, and even he doesn't "get it." Men like to say "you are on your period," but they don't get it. They can't get it.

The above is nonfamilial men.
