I had a couple LF wigs in the past and loved themHeart. Only problem was I had trouble applying it. But i'm not worried about that now. Anyway I need my LF wig to stay on my head tight! A while back I had a hair piece bun on my head and it fell off when me and my bf were making out. (SO EMBARRASSINGCry). And another time I had a LF with no glue and me and my bf were cuddling and he accidently leaned on my hair and it starting to slide on my head!!!!!!!! I was like OMG!

So ladies PLEASE help me out. Have you ever had your LF fall off? What do you do to avoid this? Any tips for me?

Hi there and welcome to the forums. Smile

Ugh, I can imagine the embarrassment.  I would suggest that you try different glues, tapes, or both (if you use) to see what works best for you.  Everyone has different body chemistry, so it's all trial and error.

Make sure that you go through the newbie sections and do a search for whatever adhesives may interest you.  There's also the Tootsie's mom method if you prefer not to use any adhesives at all.  When I started out with a lace frontal/weave combo, I used spirit gum.

HTH!

You can use pin , Ultra Hold glue or the Safe Grip Wig Glue.

I've stopped using glue. It's too much cleaning with glue off the wig. So what I do is, use the side clips every so often.
I've been in situations where my boo is unknowingly leaning on my hair & it starts to pull back a little, and I know when I'm with him just to put my hair up in a clip so even if he does start leaning on it, the clip keeps it from moving. (I make sure to grip some of my real hair when I clip it)

sewn in clips or combs seem to work for those who don't want to tape or glue. . . and some ladies will take a few stitches with weaving thread across the top and nape area. . .

I don't like clips because I feel they can be damaging. You go from wearing a lace front for a different look to having to wear one so you don't get odd looks. But, if it is working for you,do so.
How about using got2beglued gel? It holds rather well.
Just apply to perimeter, like glue, add layers air dry or blog dry after applying unit.

I may a bit off with directions, I believe lovekisses99 has a YouTube video that helps. I also love the Tootsie's Mom method. I am wearing it now.

I have three of these sewn in my wig:

One in the front, and one at each side.

sh*t is not coming off.

I like these combs and only these combs because they don't put stress on my hair.

you can try gluless cap wig with comb in side and adjustable straps at the back or you can wear clip-in weft.
