It took me 25 minutes to reset my twitter password and start tweeting.  But someone already retweeted talking about the power of collective voices.  I'm naming every sponsor tweet by tweet.

Now I'm getting an e-mail every time someone retweets!  Dang it!  I'll figure out how to work this thing.

People only care about the bottom line. This will quickly be forgotten and it will be back to business as usual.

I just think it's ridiculous that the nfl will be imposing fines on players for using the n word, baseball suspended owners for racist remarks, and the nba seems to turn a blind eye while people are asking the players to do the commissioners job.

It's definitely ridiculous. And, it's hypocritical for people to expect players to break their contractual obligations and judge them negatively for not doing so.

The fact is, there are more racist CEO's than not, no matter the industry. Even what the nfl and others do is just lip service as no one is really interested in dismantling racism and f*cking with their profits.

Man this is a tough spot. I'm pretty sure most of us work under racist CEO's. Would you quit a great paying job because you're boss is an undercover bigot, racist or misogynistic person? I would def want the fans not to boycott though, they should come with signs that say Doc should get fired or something. The more the media pays attention to it the better.

Ain't nobody quitting their job or boycotting anything. The only way to be that righteous is to go completely off grid. Otherwise people are still gonna go work for and buy the products of racists, rapists, murderers, child abusers, and slave masters.

No place to be mad at the players or the fans when we all do the same ish every single day.

Right.  We don't want to punish the players who worked so hard to get here.  I don't think that's cooning just reality.  I think the only real answer is to have more black owners and move into positions of true power.  The average NBA team is valued at $393 million.  Is there enough black wealth to buy up some teams?  Can more retired players put their $$ together and make it happen?  Can we do a better job of educating professional players on money management so they can be in this position once they retire?

you forgot when Jordan tried to buy a stake in the Bulls and the owners were like naaahhh son?

Shoot step 1 included neglecting my husband and kids letting them eat some cardboard frozen pizza for dinner which is probably unknown to me some kind of way lining Sterling's pockets and something else I can feel bad for later.

I'ma curl up with my boo and watch a movie now and fight the good fight some more tomorrow. GN

I'm hoping she's been siphoning money from his ass the entire time, biding her time for him to catch on and then springing this and releasing it as a way to cover her tracks lol. I'm hoping she's just pandering in the tape. That's what it sounds like (maybe because I want it to?) to me..

Thank God the good po folks of Montgomery, Alabama didn't have y'alls mentality in 1955 Dead

Actually, I take that back. Maybe if they did we would still be segregated and cycling money through our own communities instead of turning profit for white folks...
