So I've been looking at this vendor for awhile, and for my birthday, I decided to take a mini-plunge. I bought 2 bundles of Kollosal Kurly, one 12 and one 14, for around $50 each (clearance section, woot.)
I didn't expect A1 hair since I didn't spend 1 money, but her other reviewers had gorgeous hair, so i didn't expect completely shabby hair.
It came pretty quickly (she's in Georgia, I'm in Florida) but when I opened it I wanted to cry. It looked (and smelled) like some dry synthetic Wet'n'Wavy. But i chalked it up to being in a box for a couple days. So I washed it, deep conditioned it, and microwaved it while it was drenched in raw Shea butter. As it dried, it looked a bit better, so I waited a few days, bought some argan oil products, and installed it.
I took it out within the week, it go so damn dry, so damn quickly. After a few hours, the steam pressed curls just dropped and the ends would straighten out. I really almost threw it out. I won some Creme of Nature dye in a giveaway, so I figured I'd practice my bleaching skills on it. The color was so pretty to me that I decided to invest more money into it, and bought Cantu Shea Butter Curling Custard & some Creme of Nature leave-in. The curl pattern now is alot prettier, so I re-installed and might keep it in for a lil while.
I swear that Cantu saved this hair. Its almost gorgeous now, and takes a whole day to dry out.
I'll atach pictures in the next post when I figure out how. I have pics of everything but the hair directly out of the package.
