I purchased light yaki during the Cyber Monday sale and it tangles/matts and sheds like a dog. Not even just in the nape but it tangles everywhere within minutes of wearing it. Every times I run my hands through, I get several strands. Brushing it will get me a handful of hair coming out. Had to do a bleach bath to make it somewhat wearable. Smh...never again

I bought some afro kinky curly when she first started.

I was NOT impressed.   I understand akc hair i wear it 90% of the time.

I would never purchase again.

MY LY SUCKS. [Couldn't remember my old UN or PW so I made another profile after finding this post just to share my experience.] Paid for it during the cyber Monday sale and installed it a little over a month later. Lasted about 4 days after installing before it became a tangled mess and started to shed horribly.  I've had it in about 5-6 weeks and due to the shedding it's no longer thick and I cant wear it down for more than a minute without it starting getting that "rats nest look". I have to wear it in a braid.  Which absolutely  pisses me off after spending almost 300 and another 175 to get in installed! My hair should be blowing in the wind right now. I bought this hair because I couldn't find not one bad review not one complaint ! And after seeing Keizz from youtube vids and KCY's instagram reviews I was sold. Figured how likely would it be that I'd end up with messed up hair. [I went on YT and posted that the hair I had shed like crazy under some reviews and the reviewers got mad at me ! smh ]

 My stylist kept saying she didn't trust the hair and it may matt up on me as she was installing ( I just kept thinking she didn't like the texture). It's too bad initially it was beautiful and blended seamlessly  with my natural hair. Then it turned on me lol

 I'm so disappointed seems like I can't get good hair anywhere anymore. She offered to replace it but honestly I just want my money back. Afterwards I looked for bad reviews to see if anyone was experiencing what I am. Came up with nothing until I come on here. Seems Fishy. Never did it before but I hope can file a Paypal Claim.

Wow!  The pictures and experiences in here are crazy!!  

I will say that you won't find any "negative" experiences on the internet simply because for those who post their PERSONAL experiences, they are flocked and dismissed by those who have decent/good  experiences.  I mean sometimes I've witnessed them "go in" on the person - as if they are completely ignorant to hair and weaves.  That doesn't mean there aren't some that are new but I've heard people who are experienced with hair with similar issues posted.  I never understand people's need to minimize others experiences simply because they like the company or the owner.  It's ridiculous.  

Hopefully KCY finds a new vendor for the "problem" textures cause from observing - this has been an ongoing issue for a LONG, LONG time now.  I'm sure with an improved product they would have more HAPPY customers and more customers in general.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience because it really sucks to pay for hair and get it installed and have those kinds of problems with it. However, if she's offering to replace it, why not take the replacements? I have read about others having issues with hair they've installed and she's basically shrugged her shoulders and said because the hair has been worn there's nothing she can do about it, so at least she's offering something to you that she doesn't normally offer to others. I know receiving your money back would be best, but that doesn't seem to be an option for you now, so at least take what you could get, while she's offering to give it. It's better to at least get brand new hair that may act exactly how you hoped and wanted it would than to be completely out of money and nothing useful to show for it. That's my opinion anyway.

Yes, my suggestion would be to put it on a U-Part wig so that way if you do have problems with it, at least you won't have wasted money getting it installed again. I have hope and confidence for you that it's going to go better this time. Lightning never strikes in the same place twice, right? Wink Good luck girly!

so I'm really nervous after reading these post. I decided to purchase from this hair company after seeing such great reviews from YouTube. I purchased Lite Yaki in 22' 18' and 1/2 16' during her Having a Baby Sale. I emailed her prior explaining my concern with buying the hair during a sell and she quickly responded saying all should be well.

I ordered the hair on the 15 and my 18' was on back order when ordering. Because of the sale it placed it on another week of backorder. Idk if anyone is dealing with the processing time now because of the sale but she's making everything on the website as sold out. Saying she isn't going to process any more hair until the end of March (she's pregnant. If you want more information it's best to check her Instagram, there she provides all info needed).

I was expecting to have my hair by now, and was getting impatient. When I emailed 5 business days after she explained the info about my 18' and told me my hair should be shipping out early this week. It's currently Wednesday and I'm just waiting on that nice little email.

I understand she has a high demand in orders right now and it would be bestif she would hire workers versus doing it herself. If the timing of my hair coming messes with the quality then please by all means TAKE YOUR TIME!!

Once I receive the hair I will be posting anything to update yall and I wil also be making YouTube videos with my experiences with the hair. ik that was a lot to Read but its imporTant
