What. Huh. Just wasnt tolerated and made very clear to me as far back as I can remember. Responding with Yes, {ma'am or sir} or just yes and appear, and do whatever is being asked of you was my only option. WITH ALL ADULTS!

The let $hit go method ( with a little talk)---
In an extreme case--- I do take away his i pad /I only limit his computer time--- I will not take it away its a tool,/ NO toys and trains and no B-day parties when he misbehaves

I remember reading about on BHM, one parent took off the door to their children's bed room... that will be my next move--- in his pre/teens--- NO JOKE.

What is not rude although I prefer "I'm sorry, can you repeat".

I hate "pardon" it's the wrong meaning for not hearing someone. The long version is I beg your pardon"!

how old are they? Did you start teaching them the right way soon as they learned how to talk at 1 or 2 years old? How did they grow to say what if you taught them early?
