Seems like the merging/blending/crossing of r&b and rap has destroyed traditional r&b. I miss the ballads of the 90s. I can nod my head a time or two to the Frank Ocean/Chris Brown records, but I tire of them after a few spins. Straight r&b will have an artist broke nowdays, singing about showing you how your coochie works.

I agree, but I think it's purposely not promoted.

Keyshia shoulds like a scorned, bitter woman. Damn near everything she says is negative. Why so mad, Keysh? The song is just that, a song. It's catchy. Catchy songs sell. She's definitely reading too much into the song. |
this right here, why she care so much ? shouldn't she be worried about her own next single if she got one...

I do agree with this. But I would add: Taking
pot shots at someone who's clearly established and is sitting on easy
street (unless B pulls a 180 and does a Charlie Sheen) smacks of
desperation. I like KC's voice, but her relevance factor is in the
single digits. The only time she can create a buzz (it feels to me) is
when she's throwing weak pot shots at other celebs or is clearing her
"good name" from a case of "giving head" mistaken identity. I
love her voice, but she can take several good seats from Ikea and sit in
them. This does nothing to increase her relevance factor.
