I agree .. but like whoever said in this thread sex sells. Both rhi and bey have sex appeal... also those other girls haven't crossed over.. They don't have a diverse fan base like bey n rhi...

Had Kelly had been pushed as the star, etc....errything that Bey had? I think there's a good chance. Everybody love to say Bey is a robot, Bey ain't got no personality so....*shrugs*
Had Kelly been groomed for stardom....yes...I think she coulda been a Beyonce.

I understand that but why haven't they crossed over? Do they lack crossover appeal or are they lacking something else? Even of you compare Rihanna to these singers instead of Beyonce, how did Rihanna make it instead of them? Ciara sings as well as Rihanna, plus she can dance...Amerie is gorgeous and she can carry a tune, Keri Hilson writes her own music and can sing, plus she's beautiful, and Cassie makes fun music and is stunning. Aside from perhaps Ciara, none of them are "blacker" than Beyonce or Rihanna.
So is that they lacked the opportunities afforded to Beyonce and Rihanna, or that they lacked staying power in the industry?
