I think what separates beyonce is the work she's willing to put in...everybody isn't willing to do what she does.
Kelly can barely be herself. It's been a decade since DC was at its height of popularity and she still hasn't found a way to really capitalize on her fame.
| Most people work hard in that business. I don't think it's be of Kelly's lack of work ethic. Bey has more opportunities by of several factors. That hardest working woman thing is misleading

That's true but I' talking about her success in relation to being Black I don't think a mega Black female pop star would have ever happened again had Beyonce not climbed the ranks through her DC success

Y'all are missing the point in the op where she said groomed. Matthew set up Destiny Child solely to prepare Beyonce for her solo career. Imagine if he treated all the girls equally. Kelly doesn't have to be Beyonce but she could be bigger than what she is now if he put as much effort into her career. We only have Rihanna and Beyonce, white america got B. Spears, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry who all get their shine. And about voices, the second verse of "check on it" was sung by Kelly. That's how similar Kelly and Beyonce's voices are. |
THANK YOU MISS LADY.

While we're on the subject, I saw a movie with Kelly Rowland last week when I couldn't sleep. It was with Tisha Campbell's husband. I don't know anything else about her, but she can act better than Beyonce...and that ain't saying a damn thing.

Kelly is "cute" to me... her face does not elicit "sex" imo (but i am a straight woman so my opinion may be bias)
Beyonce does the "sex" look very well
