So I'm getting kinky twists tomorrow and I was wondering if spraying water on them then following with braid spray was a good moisturizing method. Will the water make them loose or will they be fine? I am using the marley braid hair also.

For those who've had kinky twists, how do u recommend keeping them moisturized?

When I had my KinkyTwist all I did was spray briad spray everyday and wash every couple weeks, especially when it got too itchy...

I'm gonna check out your blog too Goldenyn!

I have kinkys in now Im going on my 3rd month this is my way of stretching perms.  Anyway All I do to mine is spray my leave in conditioner daily, and oil or grease my scalp.  Sometimes when my hair feels really dry I apply BB pink lotion from root to the end of my natural hair and seal with tea tree or jojoba oil.  This seems to work well for me.  It usually gets really itchy and old after about 6 weeks so I remove all the ones from my edges all around, wash my hair, leave-in condish, blow dry, replace my edges re-curl & go! its been working wonders for me. My hair grows slow so I only have about 1.5 inches of newgrowth but Im pushing for atleast another 4 weeks

I will check into the curl free curl. Today I picked up black & beautiful carrot gro spray oil. It's says it's good for braids. I'm not sure if I like it just yet tho.
