I remember buying  VO5 products once, a while ago..Lawrd...my hair felt like dried straw afterwards...I said to myself never again...and I wasn't into taking care of my hair properly yet but I knew this was super bad for my hair, I tossed it in the trash can...I was surprise to read about it on BHM.
edit : oh ! and also Pantene line relaxed and natural for women of color...

V05 moisture milks--too much protein. Made my hair hard!

Coconut oil--made my hair hard!

Coconut cream did nothing for my hair, either.

Oh and cowashing a couple of times a week. It made my hair mushy and breakage prone.

Everything that I've researched and bought has pretty much worked...thanks BHM...

Frequent co-washing probably would've worked if I kept doing it, but I'm too lazy to wet my hair every other day...

Henna! gave my hair a really nice red tint, BUT it dried my hair out something serious! i won't be doing that again.
Oh, and pantene relaxed and natural line....I wouldn't even use that crap on synthetic hair!

But i love the Aubrey GVP, coconut oil, and megatek has been great to me...
sorry these things didnt work out for you ladies Unhappy
