and artists...yeah, they don't make the people look like their exact self. I'm sure you all are familar with Anne of Cleves. Henry VIII saw her portrait and liked it, but when he saw her real life he described her as "the Flanders Mare" his famous words were, "I like her not." For the person that posted Richard III...yeah you're right too.
Although, some artists do paint the true portrait of someone. King Edward I (aka Edward the Longshanks) had a droopy eye lid and an artist showed it
