That portrait of her above is kinda borrowed from a portrait found in 1818.
Portraits then were hardly ever inaccurate the artists took their jb seriously bc they didn't have photographs or things like that.

I don't think they are saying that because she is black.
Cleopatra is depicted in history as strong and smart .
Those are positive attributes.
I don't mind if she wasn't beautiful , I believe the portrait
