If the portrait artist is going to portray the subject like this, especially a royal one, to hell with tradition in my opinion.

Lol, none of the portraits are flattering when it comes to " royalty".

The artists don't give a damn .
King Richard III didn't look real at all he was deformed and they drew him as such .

Same with Cleopatra her portrait looks unflattering too

they also missed out her colour too

i'd love to know what she looked like if this is really a bad impression of her.
