I think when they were wondering why she was sleeping so much she confessed....this isn't so odd.....it's the fact that she's 12 thats weird....she's too old for this.....is she delayed?

Sounds white.
Not surprised.
I remember watching something on ID about this lil girl killing both her siblings.

It is normal for a child to be jealous when a new baby comes into the fold and family and friends pay extreme attention. Hell I cried when my brother got tons of attention. I was 9. It was like WTF? I am sitting here too. Going from being the baby to just another kid is hard. Although I didn't try to kill anyone, it is hard to deal with for some children.

She is 12 and should know right from wrong. I would question her emotional age. Some 12 year olds think like 8 year old. Looking at her behavior and the reason, she may have some cognitive issues.

By 12 I was more focused on clothes, friends and cute boys. That is an age where you are stepping out, not necessarily looking for attention from mom.

Quote Adults in the home became concerned because the infant was sleeping for an extended time, Haley said. When they questioned why the baby might be in distress, Haley said the 12-year-old confessed to giving the baby medicine.

I don't think she's abused, i'm not even sure she's really guilty, like what if the mother was poisoning her own baby and freaked out when other people noticed there might be something wrong ? The sister may be taking the fall, she's younger, less time. Maybe i watch too many Soap Operas ?

But, if she really is guilty, i wouldn't mind her sister slamming her face into a wall a few times.
