I got this from Steve Harvey's Strawberry letter, I thought it was so crazy I had to post it:
I�m a 32 years old man and a college graduate. I met a woman 5 years ago on the job. We had different situations but I fell in love with her. She has two kids with different daddies. At the time I did not have any. We had a lot of things in common and hit it off. I didn't like the different daddies because they were no good and did not help. A lot of times I questioned how she would get herself involved with guys like this. Going into the relationship, I knew it was a package deal. I finally moved in and a year later she was expecting. I thought I knew who she was but more started to come out. I decided to move out because her past was questionable and she discussed how she used to use cocaine and was beat by her boyfriends and was a lil wild. But, she is carrying my lil girl and I want to be a full time father, not a weekend father, so I�m going to make this work. During an exam, we found out that she has herpes and she blames me. I got the test and I am negative! No Herpes! With my relationship in turmoil, all I can do is think about her past, but I want to be a full-time father. Steve, Shirley, What do I do? I love her, but this is not how I imagined my life to be.
What say you BHM?

When I see men like this, black or white, I honestly wonder how many educated, sensible, childless women he passed up to find this trash.
It's a mental complex. Some people need drama in their lives.

how does he not have herpes? i'd be more willing to believe she had HIV and he didn't.

This is why I always advise people not to mess with people who have ready made families.
But if you can, do you.
He knew who she was before he got under the covers with her but decided to ignore all the signs. You can be an involved parent without being with the other parent.
In the future he needs to practice better judgement.

So during their 5 year courtship, he didn't have a clue on how wild she was until she got pregnant with his baby? He knew she was a bit wild and 'likeded' it. Now that she almost gave him herpes, it's getting too real? Hot mess.
