I'm a newbie when it comes to kinky curly weave, so I jumped in pretty blindly when I ordered a few bundles from Aliexpress. I ordered 3 bundles in the lengths 14 16 and 18 and a 14 inch closure just in case my blending sucked.

So fast forward a week or so and I check out the hair today after work. And I am CONFUSED...


The closure looks fine and it is about 12 inches unstretched. The wefts on the other hand, well lemme just let the pics speak for themselves...


So here we have, from left to right, 18 inch, 16 inch, and 14 inch wefts with the 14 inch closure next to them.

14 inch closure next to "16 inch" weft

closure next to 18 inch. you get the ideaConfused

Now here's my question. Are the lengths really off because the curl pattern on the wefts is super small and tight compared to the closure? Or did the vendor eff up my lengths? Any kinky curly guru please chime in with comments!!

the closure is clearly a looser texture than the weft LOL  


but they probably are the same length when straightened

When stretched the 18inch comes out to 14, the 16 inch comes out to 12-13, and the 14 comes out to about 10Ouch

flat iron pieces of each bundle and contact your vendor with pictures

if they refuse to do something for you leave 1 star feedback, they should then want to work it out

turn the closure over and get a ruler and measure from the bottom of the closure to the ends of the hair


if u pulled that closure up and the bottom of the u was even to the top of that 14" weft i bet its close to the same length................ that is if who ever made it did it right

pull the bottom of the u even with the weft and take another pic....... would like to see if theres a big difference then in length

Ok so I measured the closure from the bottom of the U to the ends of the hair and got about 12inches with some 13-14inch wisps. When I lined up the closure and 14 bundle like you said this is what it looked like

weft on top of closure. they line up perfectly

they did use the same length then

it doesnt look like it when ya look at em from the top but the bottom part of the u will let you know the length

Thank you Debg! Now I don't feel like I received only half the hair I paid for. I just wish I had ordered 20-22 inches or something. I wanted it to go past my shoulders :(
