I have a new lace wig I bought that is majorly absurdly thin in the front. Getting the vendor to fix it will cost $$ I don't feel like throwing after bad, know what I mean? I'm tempted to cut out the top and sew in a closure. But I'm afraid to screw up the wig. I KNOW some ladies have done this before.. but I need details! Any one who has done this, can you shed some light on how you go about it without butchering the wig? Seems to me, for instance, once you cut out the top the wig lace would sag and stretch and it would be hard to measure precisely the right size and shape to cut out.
It seems like the solution I need, but I is scared! Pointers?
