Topic: Itching Help! Posted: Dec 06 2013 at 12:09am |
I had taken a break from weaves and just got a fresh install two days ago. Now I remember why I took a break! My scalp is itching me and I'm about to lose my mind. Last time this happened I just took out the install. I dont want to do this again because I pay for my installs and I have a very important interview coming up. For the love of God does anyone have an suggestions how to make the itching stop! I have tried scalpin ( spelling) but that does nothing. Its especially worst under my closure. If anyone knows of any magic potion to reduce the itchy I would greatly appreciate it!

Try apple cider vinegar. Let it sit on your scalp as long as possible and then rinse it out. HTH

Get a noozle bottle (has a very narrow spout)from your Beauty Supply...use some coconut oil mix with some castor oil and put it on your scalp(moisturizer). That's what works for me.

I get severe itchies too plus I have really bad dry scalp, and to stop my itchies I put (dont laugh ya'll) tea tree oil,oil of oregano, listerine and alcohol, whitch hazel, a bit of anti itch shampoo, hennessey, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and a mix of whatever oils I have around like cinnamon, avocado, rosemary lavender, macadamia into a squirt nozzle bottle and I let it sit for 30 minutes. this helps alot for me anyway

Good luck. I know that feeling. I've had my installer braid too tight and a day later, it felt like ants were stinging me . Tea tree oil and witch hazel alleviate the itching but the only thing that got me thru it without taking it down was knowing that in about 3 days, it would stop.

I'm going to vote for tea tree oil in a nozzle bottle. I usually mix with other oils though...such as avocado. :)

I just got a fresh install and had this issue. I used the tea tree oil and that worked.
