I think it happend when I bumped my toe on furniture. But then again, I have gotten cracks on my fingernails as I was trying to grow them long (usually my thumb nail). I guess my nail get weak after they reach a certain length. It's not usually painful for me but it tends to snag on clothing, which can aggravate things. I end up putting glue on it almost every day but I'm looking for a better way

Other than the trauma to the nail, since this is happening frequently there is a solution. I will pm you later today.
