Topic: Is Wagman's Still Quality??? Posted: Feb 13 2013 at 10:54am |
Hello Ladies, I have been out of the hair loop for a minute, going between my natural hair and hair that I had in my stash. But alas, it is time for something new. I have tried different types of hair and found Wagman's Nc to be my favorite. I went to their site and all I see is Perfectress. So are they still good to go or what? Some one please let a sista know. Please and thank you.

Got a bundle of 16-20" last Summer and loved it. Requested a coarse curly batch and it was spot on. The only thing off was the color but Lois let me know when I ordered it that the coarsest, curliest batch they had would be a # 2. I slapped some peroxide on it and put it in the window and had # 4 as soon as it dried, lol. No issues. Receiving another bundle of 24-28 on Friday, will let you know.

W T F??? I just called Wagman's and their prices are OUTRAGEOUS! It's like DOUBLE what I've paid in the past. $186 for 4oz?? Are they serious? Is this what's going on in the weave game now?
Can anyone suggest any other vendors with comparable quality please. I don't have a lot of time to do this, but I'm not trying to pay that much. I have EP hair sitting in my stash right now that I paid an arm and a leg for and literally used 1 time. I can't believe this. Someone please get in here and tell me what's really going on.
DAMN!

Lois retired??? Wow! I recommend that you stick with the tried & true Wagman. I still have my Wagman DC & NC hair from 2006-2007 and it still looks amazing, well actually, even more beautiful.

I would just order from a IV. Wagman pricing is like a mortgage payment these days for a full weave. The last batch of hair I got from them was some NC. I asked the deepest curly batch they had. Instead I got some slightly wavy hair. I tried to boil some curl into hair as I have with other indian hair I have, and it became a tangling mess. I ended up throwing it away. I am done with Wags..

While Wagmans is a lot more pricer than a few years ago...with Wagmans for the most part you know what you are getting and they are reputable. On the other hand - you would need to see the prices for many of the other companies - they are either on par are far more expensive for other "exoctic" types of hair. Some are worth it others definitely not. But I think you did right by purchasing what you know and from whom you know...not everyone has time for Aliexpress and it's foolishness.
On another note - I hope all is well with you
