Well I've seen both in NYC...they're actually kind of common. The girl in the 2nd vid carries the hairstyle better because honestly, her face is cuter.
Not for me, but hey, it's their hair not mine! ^_^

I did it in 2010, my hair was falling out from perm and I couldn't keep up with the transitioning phase . It was fun while it lasted, but too much work to constantly get it cut ...
I cut 1/4 off for about a month & then cut nearly half. After that months later I cut all my hair off into a TWA.
I can't believe it's come back around though this quickly, I thought it was played by now. But I guess rihanna re-made it to being a trend again too.

Girls in Florida do something very similar with weave. They just use a 27 piece to achieve the tapered sides instead of completely shaved.
It's a no for me tho. Too drastic.
That second girl is gorgeous. She kinda reminds me of thomasadrianna on YouTube.
