Are there curtesies ... yes. Is there a universal set list of gf duties, not so sure
An elderly grenadian lady cursed me out properly for not putting food aside for my husband during a family get together
I do fix plates, have absolutely no issues with plate fixing but he said he wasnt hungry!
My sister hooked him up though

Yes make his plate is the main thing. If I am in a serious relationship I wont even think of fixing my plate until his is fixed and he has his drink and napkin. | <3 jr.

Meh Depends on what your source is for values in life
The source I get my values from says yes, a man has duties in a relationship And so does a woman. Nowadays 'boyfriend/girlfriend' connotes childishness, and lack of direction or seriousness at times. Even then, though, it can be argued that there are still certain duties each expects of the other.
My fiance has certain duties and if he were to drop the ball, he'd have to pick it right back up or else... And vice versa And these duties don't really include who takes out the trash or who keeps making dinner.

I thought everyone has duties in relationships? I'll make him fantastic plates and he'll take care of my SSKs at night.
