All I can say is that you can teach people how to treat you.
If she is happy with what he brings to the table then that's good.
But if he comes to depend on her and she gets sick of it, she enabled it.
Personally with the way women are judged for the smallest things, I'd prefer if the guy would contribute half or within his ability.
But if she is happy taking on the mother role in this mother and son type of relationship and he has no problem with the criticisms that will come with her taking on a mother-like role, well, then good for them.
Wouldn't be me though.
