I'm not sure what criteria they used to decide that substance addiction is an illness, but if it is, it is self-imposed.

I don't think it starts as an illness but it certainly turns into one.

Im gonna get stoned but addiction is NOT a disease, it's a choice.
93.7 % of what he stated was truth.
The other 6.3 % may be truth but I just dont believe it.

To an extent Everything having to do with addiction comes down to personal choices, if u will But some people have a predisposition to being *addicted* to anything It wouldn't be the same as, someone like me who isn't addicted to anything, turning down something It's more of a force when there is a genetic-predisposition
