    Posted: Jan 14 2014 at 1:41pm
I've seen where people have sewn an iron on patch to their lace closure but has anyone ever actually ironed on the patch to their closure? I'm debating on ttrying this. After I bleach my knots again and tint my lace of course. But I'm thinking the patch may also help give like a "seal" to the knots since they will be in between the lace and the patch so less shedding? I found a patch very close to my scalp color and it looks like skin too. What are yall thoughts?

If I had a old closure to experiment on then yes. If I had that closure ordered for my install then no.

doesn't seem like it would be that bad or a problem that a little powder foundation couldn't handle. i think im going to go ahead and try it. I have more then enough time before i get this hair Iinstalled.

I can imagine that it is to some degree. Probably more after the adhesive backing melts once it's actually ironed on.

Hmm...well, okay.
Let us know how it goes.
Truly never thought of that.
I am still recovering from my "turtle" incident in Florida last year.
I want to find a good way to wear a closure. But mine has to be behind the hair line.
What about you? Do you plan on putting yours behind your hairline? If so, will you start the patch a few centimeters back so as not to have a line of demarcation from the patch?
