Oh Im not worried about my prof. I argue with him all the timeLOL. Hes cool. But when explaining the two ideolodies in my paper, I just started to realize that my prof definitely let his opinion be heard by how he explained the two ideals over the semester. But thank you!

So ya'll don't agree with MLK's love your enemy approach? Was it effective during it's time? Regarding racial integration and basic civil rights? It seemed like a good idea but the government specifically state govt wasn't really enforcing any of the laws regarding this. If they were it was a half a** approach. Sigh.

Also, how do you feel about Booker T Washington's Atlanta Compromise? He was trying but I don't agree with the "Go slow" general school of thought regarding violence and oppression. Again, hindsight is 20/20.

Integration with congregation according to individual preferences.  Just because you black doesn't mean I want you for my neighbor or my boss.  But congregating for business, faith, recreation, etc. I'm all for it.

Real choices with real opportunities.  It could be said that people can choose where they live, work and go to school know but we all know those choices are limited due to socioeconomic pitfalls and barriers.  I don't see how separatism could help or change that.

I have learned a lot from my white/asian and east indian friends (mainly financial management and wealth building) and shared that info with my black family and friends.  You have to have to give but where do you get it from?  I strongly believe we all can learn from each other. Who we decide to invest our knowledge in is a personal choice.
