I have known women who have stayed with very successful men that cheat and I have known women (including me) who have tried but could not stay with the.. My ex was a partner at a very large law firm and was(is) very financially well off but I could not take the cheating. It started to make me sick to my stomach and paranoid  . It is a long story and thank God I left.
