One more question:
Modelbusiness and anyone else taking hairfinity: are you taking any additional supplements along with the hairfinity (additional msm, biotin, multivitamin) or do the amounts in hairfinity meet the daily requirements? |
The HF is a pretty good vitamin you do not need to take a multi
vitamin with it. It has 100% over the daily requirements for most of the
vitamins. I would take some chewable vitamin C with it the 1,000mg
chewable ones you get form CVS or Walmart. Especially during this season
of flu and cold, it helps to have that vitamin C in you. The HF is
missing some of the minerals that multi vitamins have such as: Copper,
selenium, chromium, manganese, zinc, sodium, iron, magnesium, and iodine.
But if you eat moderately healthy you should be getting most of these
daily in your food. Hope you get the results you desire, I think you
will, I have heard good things about this supplement. Be sure to take
both capsules to get the full effect. Make yourself drink a full glass
of water when you take each one. Keep us posted, did you do a before
measurement and picture just for your records?

Hi Natural
I agree with Veemack, I wouldn't suggest taking a
multi vitamin with HF. As it does have a lot of vitamins in it and in
high concentrations, a multi might end up giving you beyond the daily
recommended amount. IMO, I wouldn't take any additional vitamins except
for those not supplied by HF. For example, I also take cranberry extract
suppliments.
If you're drinking the recommended amount of water
per day, you should be okay. But yes, definitely beef up your water
intake if you're not already. HF is HIGH in Biotin, so if you don't
drink enough water you might suffer acne breakouts.
I've been
doing well with my vitamins since I got my HF and this week I've been
pretty good with my water too. Only yesterday did I drink a low amount
and that was because I was out and running around.

Thanks for the response Veemack.
I already take vitamin C so I am off to a good start. I did notice that it is low on the mineral side and was contemplating getting a mineral supplement but I will wait for a month to see how my body and hair are reacting to the HF.
My water intake is definitely the area that I want to improve on...I have been battlingthe flu and I know I should be pushing fluids but all I want to do is sleep.
I am going to be taking one capsule in the morning and one with either lunch or dinner (possibly lunch as that is my bigger meal).
I will certainly keep you posted and take photos sometime over the weekend

Hey Modelbusiness,
First off is that all your hair in the avi? beautiful!!
I am uber excited to see results but I do know that it will take some time to get in my system. I mentioned above that I am working on increasing my water intake...right now I intake about 3 of the 500 ml bottles per day..I am trying to double that so that I can reach the 64 ounces along with the other fluids I intake on a daily basis.
thanks for reccommending them to me and I will surely keep you all updated.

Oh, I think I have a week or so left of my HSN vitamins.I'm not sure if I want to continue using the spring Valley or just go back to the OneSource... I think I'll just go with the OS because I know my hair grew noticeably faster with the 1 time I took those. I'm going to compare the two. I will post pictures of their labels. (Though I do think OS has more nutrients--I think the horsetail extract is a really good one that the Spring Valley does not have)

Awww bless you no that's not my hair but a FLW. I'm currently in a PS til March plan since I took my Marley Twists out this week. I actually had a minor setback and lost about 2" of old relaxed ends from my Marley Twists so I'm still at APL But my goal is to get my hair to MBL...if I keep on track with my vitamins and reggie, I should... should be able to reach it by the end of the year. We'll see!

Yes Model your hair is pretty whether LF or not. But your face is prettier. Nice picture.
@Ambercolour I really love the one source also, something about this inexpensive hair vitamin. I am surprised it works so well considering that it is a pill and not a capsules or liquid. But I will buy again!

Thank you ladies! :)
The flw is from KevinCN, but I bought it like 3yrs ago so I don't really remember the specs too well. It's had a lot of reinventions since I first bought it. The pic is fairly recent though.
Original: I think it was Mongolian wavy/curl (I just remember I told him to dupe a pic of Ciara and he did), 20" all over so all hairs were 20" long, free part and stretch lace. And I think it was either originally a #4 or a #2, density medium in the front and thick in the back
Now: I changed it to a LY texture. Dyed a burgundy-ish shade. I need to thin it out a bit though bc changing the texture made it extra thick.
