how so---- they pay.. he pays.... do what they say...no contest. its also been said she's not grateful. how do you know she isn't? b/c she said.. she's tired of being watched when she sleeps. or tracked like a yorkie? people shouldn't be able to treat you any sort of way b/c they offer you financial help. its one thing if they were acting like normal parents... (most normal parents aren't puting tracking devices on their adult children) and she was bytching. but they are acting a plum fool.

Not sure who is telling the truth...the girl could have made up some stories because she wants her parents to stop showing up at the campus.
The parents could have gone crazy and really did watch her sleep through skype.
Either way she sounds like a b*tch.

So let me get this straight, if your parents would have paid your college tuition, you would have been okay with them placing tracking technology on your phone, requiring you to check in with them via skype, and watching you while you were sleeping?
And lets say you decided not to check in via skype, hence attempting to "cut your ties appropriately and moving on". Would it be okay for your parents to pop up while you are on stage during a performance and cause such a disturbance that the college recognizes it enough to attempt to provide you with security from your own damn parents?
But if you don't abide by these terms, you are ungrateful?
Then after all of the checking in and being monitored, you're still being accused of being a drug user and a whore?
How is this being ungrateful?
In addition, the father is afraid of her mental state, not because they are running her half crazy, not because of a definite diagnosis of a mental illness, but because of a history of suicide in the family...WTF?
Yeah, I think a restraining order was very appropriate!
