After meeting his Internet girlfriend in real life for the first time, tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz did what any young man in love would do: he tattooed his name across her face.

Toumaniantz fled Russia after a legal battle with a disgruntled client (a Belgian girl inked with a face full of stars) tarnished his tattoo parlor's reputation. In exile, he started an Internet relationship with an 18-year-old girl named Lesya.

Lesya’s tattoo is gigantic. Because she couldn't fit "Toumaniantz" across her face, she went with her new boyfriend's first name. “Ruslan” is inked in thick black letters across her cheeks. It looks like she’s sporting Bane’s face-mask from the last Batman movie.

If getting a face tattoo wasn't impulsive enough, consider the fact that Lesya had only met her facial inspiration twenty four hours before she decided on the permanent look.  It makes Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries feel like a well thought-out affair.

Well, why not? At this point, there’s not much to lose.

Lesya’s getting a surprising amount of support on Facebook. One commenter cheered her on, writing beneath her newly uploaded image, "this styled tattoo adds so much to her natural beauty." Another person added “such an awesome commitment!"

Okay, but what if it doesn't last?

We asked an ink removal expert what the long-term damage would be.

“The good news is, tattoos on the face respond better to laser treatment than other parts of the body and black ink is also the easiest thing to remove,” Dr. Will Kirby, of Dr. Tattoff tattoo removal, told Yahoo! Shine.

Now for the not so good news.
