Im wondering is there a customs duty for importing hair weave into the us. I searched and it says no duty only a merchandising fee. But say you buy $1000 worth of weave is there a duty?

Depends on the quantity. I think if u are buying hair as a distributor u would have to pay duties( not sure how much). But buying 1 kilo ..nope

I used 3 for each bundle. What do you prefer to use? I've only ever used box dye and still got the same results everytime. I just want my hair to be jet black.

depand on the hair total value if a lot hair maybe only $500 ,customs Dep. will charge you higher custom tax. but usually smart hair vendor say it is synthetic or hair sample without commercial value and quote price under $20 ,which buyer don't need to pay tax.. but frankly speaking if you buy large amount, customs dep. will check hair carefully and judge the hair value themselves not only the commerical invoice,so need to pay % tax once wholesale business.hope this help.

Typically they would just say it is synthetic hair to avoid those fees. or even samples. for best response I would get in contact with whom you're ordering from and they can better answer that for you as I'm sure they deal with numerous orders large and small so they can tell you better.

hopefully that helped ....
