she doesn't look amazing to me. yea she looks good with that makeup but barefaced, she has tri-colored skin like charlamagne imho. no edges, bags under eyes, crows feet....she looks tired.
i've seen plenty of 60 yr old women that look a lot better than iman.

i hear what ur saying but like amazingness aside, imo her face looks a lot younger than 57, not even referring to her skin, blemishes, hair, edges, nothing, but simply her face
but your experience is different obviously, kudos to being around beautiful older women lol

I kinda disagree with you on this one. There's a lot of black women out there with smooth skin. They may not have the slim figure to match, but still... My own mom looks 20 years younger than she actually is. Iman is kinda plain without the makeup. But she looks stunning with the embellishments

But when I said smooth skin, I meant wrinkle free. You know black don't crack that easy, so in terms of her face, I've seen plenty of black women her age who look youthful as well. I don't think she is exemplary in that regard. Difference is, those women I see tend to lose their figure with age and she hasn't. But then again, she's somali, I think? It's their body type. And her bags and discoloration make her look tired

true but in my mind i guess when ppl say she looks amazing for her age, they aren't just comparing her to other black women....it's probably white women they are saying in relation to or anyone else (although a lot of other races age very well too)
i do agree with u that her body is a big part of it too.....her body still looks great
sheika mozah is 53 i believe so younger than iman but her face looks a lot older imo (shes also had work done i think as well)...however she's still very slim and in shape so i think that's what makes her look more youthful

^^^Less melanin. More susceptible to cracking, imo. But she's a very elegant lady (don't particularly like the 2nd, 3rd and 4th outfit displayed here, but I've seen other threads about her and she has mad style.

Honestly, I had a somali and an ethiopian girl say the same thing to me years ago (that she was average) and I looked at them like they were crazy, LOL. But yeah, they don't think she's this great beauty that the world sees
