I was lucky...this almost happened to me last year.  $1.00 got taken from my account but my bank froze my account.  I didn't even know till I was at 7-11 tryna swipe some movie goodies the next day and had to call them.  I deal with a small neighborhood bank.

This happened to me in 2010. I made a purchase on eBay using paypal. The next day, I went to purchase my books for class and my card was declined. No funds. Come to find out. Someone which was located over seas had taken all of my money out of my account in 500 dollar increments. I had to sign papers but they knew it couldnt been me so idk why they let it happen.

Whoever it was got my info from paypal some kind of way. The moment when you can't trust paypal..


One other time in 2011 my BoA account was overdrawn 89,000 dollars. They actually called me and informed me that my account had been compromised and immediately shut it down. I was at work when they called.

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this AZ.

Dang, sorry you have to go through this!

I have BOA and y'all got me paranoid as hell now lol. Exactly a dollar was missing outta my account the other day, but I haven't noticed any weird charges since. I thought it was weird since I'd never bother to swipe my card for just a dollar.

I hope you and the bank plan to press charges to the fullest extent of the law. How do you not only steal somebody else's ish, but have the audacity to use it on something as unnecessary as damn video games?!

I hope your money is restored ASAP!
