Wow, it's crazy that BOA didn't stop a purchase in chicago. I have BOA and they are ALWAYS freezing my account because of "suspicious activity". It's annoying because I have to call them and verify my purchases but I guess I'm grateful now.

they have done that with us in the past too. It's always an immediate inconvenience but in the long run I am grateful too. but yeah the clerks look at you like you're the thief when the card is declined because of suspicious activity.  *embarrassing*

*hugs* This happened to me before. I had to file a police report, sign some papers, and the funds were reimbursed. I know the feeling! Someone using a pc in California depleted my checking account.
