She’s not some “dumb little white girl”; she said what she
said because she knew that she could get away with it and nothing would be
done. Ignoring statements like hers, Donald Sterling’s, etc are very important
because it’s lets society know that will accept others disrespecting our:
History, struggles, and our legacy and we will continue to support them even though they
don’t afford us the most basic respect.
Joking about slavery is not ok. It was unacceptable no
matter who the victims were throughout history and should not be made light of.
