I have done some research and grandparents are not childcare professionals

well at least let me see their curriculum and the child development classes they have completed, along with some psych classes and experience with more than a few kids

school= glorified daycare, they just teach you something to take up the time

Mommy Diane went back after 3 months or so i think i turned out right. We were so rich I had a live-in nanny.  i went to kindergarten at 2 years old that is the norm out here. 2-3 for K1.

huh?  kids aren't lil kids forever.

no they aren't

but this comes from other related threads

and tbh if daycare is terrible, how is sending them off to school for 8 hours a day any better?

well...yeah if a person doesn't believe they or their extended family is equipped to develop their children then yeah...it would probably be best to let someone outside of the family do it...
as for me...i'm great, my momma (rip) and daddy and a host of aunts and uncles were/are great at child care development...so...yeah...

i think the difference between daycare and primary school is that the child is old enough (in primary school) to tell you what goes on behind the scenes and stuff like that. and you can correct the problem or move them to another school

well it is pretty obvious that most children of a certain age (typically kindergarten) can actually communicate what is or is not happening to them...
