the black men on Scandal are the most upstanding to this point lol...except for the one that died

you know what though, when I watch Scandal, I don't think about these things, I just enjoy the drama. And yes, in that last episode we got to see the President is no better than his campaign folk.

i like the show because of it's "novella" type format. the storyline doesn't drag, it moves quick, very rarely is there a filler episode. they solve mysteries in 3-4 episodes max. Not like that stupid show revenge where that white girl has been trying to solve some mystery for 3 years. I don't think Olivia is one dimensional. she fights for others like a badass but allows herself to be succumb to her own emotions when it comes to her personal life. the contradictions of her character are interesting to me. i like that she is flawed.

There are alot of White people in this country This show may not be popular amongst White people in general but I am assuming that they are a majority of viewers since Black people only make up 20% of the total number of viewers The show’s other sweet spot — one that network executives seem less
eager to discuss — is its success among African-American audiences.
According to Nielsen “Scandal” is the highest rated scripted drama among
African-Americans, with 10.1 percent of black households, or an average

no--normal is not my projection...you and midwest postulize that black women want to be with white men and that is why black women watch it. i don't agree with the bold at all...but as you said you don't watch the show so I shouldn't expect much in terms of your theories about what would work with the show and what wouldn't.

Sometimes I think folks look for sh*t on Scandal is because Pope is black. Black men call her a whore because the President is white. Black women aren't allowed to like it because the President is white. It seems everything is a prollem. I've said it before........why every single thing with black folks got to all the time be deep. Y'all know I own a foil hat so I look for the "spell" in a TV show but sometimes I just want to be entertained. That said...I've never watched Scandal.
