Me either! I always find it odd that on bhm ppl think black women are straight lusting and desperate for a white man... Where I am most black women I know find white dudes corny, even the rich, well off ones

no--the black women i know are not validated by dating white men either. maybe this is true of the black women on BHM and black women who are mystified/enthralled and aint never been around whites and think they're something special. maybe it's about you. but is certainly is not a "normal" or prevalent mindset as you and MW are suggesting Alias.

That's your projection, not mine. I'm just stating the obvious... the "scandal" is in the relationship being between a Black woman and a White man... not necessarily it just being an "interracial relationship" because, as I said before, this show would not be as popular amongst bw had the President been Asian or Hispanic imo
I've only seen 1 or 2 episodes so I really don't have an opinion on the actual plot either way
I'm not discrediting the quality of the show... but many shows have had 'quality' without the popularity

oh, i was just happy he wasn't black because the president is trifling as hell. if he was black, the very people in this thread upset about the race of the president would be mad about the demonization of black men on tv.  I can tell the people who actually watch the show vs. those who just want to be mad a black woman is a white man's mistress on tv.
