I have a friend who opened a beauty supply store in Chicago and she got a lot of help from her bestfriend who's mom is Korean and dad is Black. In California, the complaint has been that Koreans are running the black beauty supply stores out of business. It could simply be that they are paying too much for their products because they don't speak Korean- therefore, they must be getting products from somewhere else. It would be hard for a Black person to hire a Korean to make calls on their behalf because a Korean would probably refuse. But I haven't tried.
The problem with having bad credit is that you wouldn't be able to establish an arrangement where you get the product first and pay for it as you sell.
