Hey, if you're feeling very adventurous, check out the black Friday early bird sales for laptops. I think wal-mart is selling some for around $150. You should be able to get some good deals since it is the holiday season.

did you see the video of walmart employees throwing ipads all over the place, across the room, onto the ground etc etc

Ok, I've spilled water and coffee on my laptop and keyboard. Both might be saved. Keyboard: spray lightly with vinegar and let dry in warm place for two days Laptop: take apart, dry all parts inside and out with hair dryer set on low heat. Let rest for two days. Put together and restart.
There is no promise this will work but it just might and save yourself some money and having to start all over again with a new computer.

Ha!! I thought you were drunk! But you know what, I feel your pain. I once spilled a little soda on my keyboard and the space bar died. So.I'd.type.like.this.

| Thanks but the acetone left this hard layer on whatever it touched. I don't know if that can be cleaned but I'll do some googling. But I've been needing a new comp for a while anyway.

You were cleaning off the residue on your lace wig at that computer and spilled the acetone?

I spilled acetone on my laptop before, it kind of screwed with the click keys but it worked okay afterwards. I believe I read somewhere that if you sprayed vodka or alcohol onto ur laptop it would evaporate the moisture from the liquid you spilled. dont quote me tho cuz i read that on BHM

Using a blowdryer on a keyboard is a big no-no.

smh. I had an acetone fail today. I tried to superglue my glasses back together and for the life of me I dont know why I took the lens out and soaked it in acetone because there was superglue on the side. Now I got snowflake looking crystals all over one lens. smh@ me not realizing you can't put acetone on plastic. niccas and science
