Great progress! I love weaves for the surprise factor when you take them out.

Please please please make sure you detangle your hair fully before you wash. And, it'd also be a good idea to wash your hair in braids/sections so that it can't mat up and tangle together. So many people end up with dreads and tangles so severe that they end up having to cut away all their progress.

okay so i have a question.... how do you maintain a reggie when your hair is in a sew in... because i have an addiction to weave, so that will most likely be my protective style... so what did you do??

@ MAYSAY: Yea I can't stand gaining then losing progress!!!Angry
before BHM, I was afraid to wash in a weave, but it actually made everything better in my opinion bc my set backs were due to "dirty tangles"

@ REDD: When my hair is in a sew in I dilute my shampoo/conditioner so the rinse job isn't difficult and I apply my oils and moisturizers with an applicator bottle
....and I wash whenever my hair feels like it should be washed or co-washed..which is usually every 2 weeks

When in a sew in:

I oil and moisturize 2 to 3 times a week (I'm afraid of build up)
**I mixed my oil and moisturizer together bc it was easier**
surge moisture aide + wild growth oil (yellow bottle)

**Wash- NTM shampoo
(2 wks go by....)
**CoWash- ORS conditioner
(2 wks go by...)
**Wash - Diluted mizani shampoo (Botanifying [sumthin like that])

I would rotate with these 3 products
On occasion I rubbed actual olive oil on my braids and scalp before I washed
or cowashed
