 Topic: I NEED HELP FROM MIAMI!

I'm a newbie, yes, and just found out about this site from a girlfriend. Its amazing and you are all so knowledgable!!! I am looking for a stylist in the Miami area that is familiar with lace closures and just an all around professional. I have been natural for about 3 years now and I want to stop wearing leave outs that to avoid any more heat damage. I relocated from Philadelphia where ther are hair shops on every corner and it is hard to find non-ratchet hair salons here in Miami. Also I am purchasing from a new vendor and I cant decide between Princess Hair Shop or Sheena's? I am looking at the Virgin Curly from Sheena and Malaysian Curly from Princess. Any help, feedback, comments would be appreciated!! p.s- i live in the Brickell area and will travel as far as West Palm Beach for a good stylist!!  |

I live in miami (south beach). Have yet to see a good afro-american stylist with closures. Good luck.
If it was a regular sew-in I woulda had u boo. Lol

Thanks anyway...its odd because i see so many weave out here (granted a lot of them are ratchet) you would think there would be more stylists. I tried contacting Amanda B - who someone referred me to, but she is on an indefinite hiatus from doing hair

I went to Matrix on 5th Street....I was always in there for hours but my hair was flowing in the humid cheesesteak filled air by the time i got out!

Yeah. I do weaves I'm just not that experienced with lace closures. :( I'm tellin u. There aren't a lot of 'black girls who do hair' in the brickell / beach area. I'm like one of one. LOL
