I adore my hair when it's wet, and would love to keep it in that state, or close to it, but dry.

Is there any way I could do that? Products? Drying method etc. anything?

Also, would a texturizer help me achieve that? Ideally I don't want to use a chemical treatment, but if that's the only thing that will get me close to what I want, then so be it. :P

What is your hair type? Doing a wash n go with eco styler and doing the shingling method to your curls while wet will help hold them in place but depending on your hair type you may experience shrinkage.

Forgot to add that a texturizer would give you the desired results if done properly.

I've been thinking of getting a texturizer too but I'm scared my hair will come out bone straight

Look up the tightlycurly method. You basically put in a crap load of cheap conditioner in your hair after you wash it andd leave it in and brush it through in sections with a denman brush and it will really weigh your curls down so they hang as if it were wet. I use this method myself because my hair is very prone to shrinkage and tangling and this really helps cut down on that.

I'm a 4a/4b.
I've managed to loosen up the curl a smidge doing yogurt/sour cream treatments, so when it's wet it does look more 4a maybe even 3c.

The conditioner doesn't leave any residue or show up white when dry?

^I think it depends on how you apply it and what conditioner you use.

When I apply it in the shower, and lightly rinse (You can shake your hair out here if you want) I'm okay, no flakes.

When I apply conditioner after I get out the shower on wet hair...hot mess.LOL
