This... Ask me for $20 bucks or a ride to the store, you can be anybody and I got you. Ask me to give you career contacts, now I have to look at you as an investment. That's the point I'm making. Not all requests are equal.

I think this is a age differential issue so let's agree to disagree here lol.
In short, if a friend asked you to hook them up with a position at your job, and they effed up to the 10th degree, it reflects on you, and now your boss looks at you as a liability because of your friend's bad judgement. So those kind of "favors" and help are the ones I'm talking about. Not basic requests.

I think model is saying a friend could make that professional request
sometimes a favor is more than a favor
even between friends and family

girl, yes that is why it is best not to mix the two if you can I think working in completely different industries could help you can still help and inspire each other without crossing professional paths

No I really think this morphed into something wasn't talking about but I guess that the nature of things.
No I don't really think this has that much to do with age as I know people evolve but I've seen very comfortable people give out favors without all of that pretense.
Some people lofty position or not do for people they care about for kindness sake. Honestly they do.
