but will your hair completely cover the scar or will it always be kinda visible with the right manipulation?

Hey Model according to my research once it heals fully the hair will be able to cover the scar. I will start adding Mederma to the scar.  I still have bits and pieces of the stitches in the scar to Iĺl have to wait to remove that.

No worries yall ask all the questions you want. Beauty is pain.

Ok so I guess I would update this thread every 2 weeks with as many pictures as I can. So I got the dissolvable stitches taken out last week. It itched so daggone bad. As of right now I've gotten some shock loss in the donor area so my scar doesn't look lie the above pic. Shock loss grows back so don't worry guys. You guys will be shocked also.

Shock me Suga!
C'mon with it.
Can't tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to share.
Awesome.

OK waiting on the pics to load on photobucket.

THis shyyyyyyyyyt was painful as heck. It itch like heck and hubby keeps laughing at me. Talking about I should've given him the 10k and he wouldve given me $6 hair cuts for the rest of my life.Dead

So according to the statistics your transplanted hair wont grow until 6 months to a year from now. Its only been 3 weeks so I think the hair growing is my shaved hair.  I bought a box of Rogaine but im scared to use it. I'm only scared because I heard the hair that grows from the rogoaine disappears once you stop using it. So for now I've been using Nioxin follicle booster and my essential oils. I will start my Biotin and MSM. I told yall how I had to stop the MSM and Biotin because I was growing hair on my face and all over except my head. I got laser hair removal from ideal image to deal with that. So iĺl start again.

Suga,

Is there particular hair regimen that has to be followed (ie no perms, weaves, braids, etc) for at least a year or only able to use certain shampoos/conditioners?

Queen nope...The doctor was like some of his clients have permed and relaxed after 8 weeks.  There are no restrictions he said. The hair is implanted down to the root so it will not come out. I for myself wouldnt get braids or anything but i've see pics of people doing braids and stuff.

During the 1st week the doctor gives you a couple of shampoo bottles to use on the grafts and you are supposed to use Neosporin on the scar in the donor area to heal then later use Mederma to minimize the scar.

You can tell your hair is growing at first your head looked like a bunch of pin point dots, now you have squiggly q's.

I am going to share your link/thread with my mom? She's hair thinned but now it's like she's balding in the crown and it bothers her something fierce.
